This Stag is the manifestation of a concept a sketch. A representation of a starting point and the work and the form we wish to create. I want the onlooker to feel stimulated and encouraged to start a new course or creation themselves.
As with a developing sketch, the wood is unfinished to allow natural maturity to take place.
